Farnaz, I loved how you took the time and effort to research about thing that was completely foreign to you. Even though it was a scary feeling for you at the beginning, you approached the project with an open mind and were willing to learn through different medium. I think this is a great quality to possess. As a teacher, I truly believe in constant learning, evolving, and adapting. This was a great example of that! This blog gets a 10 from me!!!

Nicely done. It was kind of a relief to read a blog that touched upon the "personal" and not just the professional. The layout is straightforward, while the fonts and images successfully support the verbiage. The links to Shams' site was an unexpected bonus (great music). I realize you're not an expert, but how "authentic" is their work? For instance, is it a fusion of modern and classic Iranian traditions, does it reflect a blend of Western and Iranian music, and are the instruments "legit"?
