My blog is a design for a book club for middle and high school level general and special education students to share their reading experiences weekly with each other at:

It provides prompts and a template for the students to share, as well as the flexibility for them to just post in paragraph form about their books. It allows me to informally assess their comprehension of the books they are reading for pleasure, which will address state standards as well as IEP goals regarding comprehension and language. They also have the option of recommending new books for the club members to read that they have enjoyed.
